ERA is a French musical project created by composer and guitarist Eric Lévi in 1996. Electronic and rock arrangements support choral vocals modeled on Gregorian chant, a sound introduced through the songs “Ameno” and “Enae Volare Mezzo” on the self-titled debut album. Later releases include Era 2 and The Mass. In 2019, ERA brought the project to the concert stage on its first tour, The Live Experience. The production featured lead singers, a choir, rock musicians and orchestral players, and the tour included La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt.
