Erasure in Manchester

Erasure are an English synth-pop duo formed in London in 1985 by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. They are known for electronic pop songs including “Sometimes,” “A Little Respect,” “Chains of Love,” “Blue Savannah” and “Always,” as well as albums such as The Innocents and Chorus. The Wild! Tour took Erasure through theatres and arenas in 1989 and 1990. In 1992, the Phantasmagorical Entertainment tour was documented at Manchester Apollo in the concert film The Tank, the Swan and the Balloon. Later itineraries included the Total Pop! Tour in 2009 and The Neon Tour in 2021 and 2022. At Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, the duo filmed On the Road to Nashville in 2006. A concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall the following year became Live at the Royal Albert Hall.

Ladytron are a British electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. Their synth-pop and electronic rock are represented by songs including “Playgirl,” “Seventeen” and “Destroy Everything You Touch,” while 604, Light & Magic and Witching Hour established the core of their catalogue. Ladytron played Coachella in 2006, then opened a run of shows for Nine Inch Nails in 2007. A concert recorded the following year was released as Live at London Astoria 16.07.08.
