About Eric Benét
Eric Benét is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter from Milwaukee, born in 1966. After recording with his sister Lisa as the duo Benét, he began his solo career with True to Myself. He is known for the albums A Day in the Life and Hurricane, as well as “Spend My Life with You,” his duet with Tamia, “Sometimes I Cry” and “The Last Time.”
In 2016, Eric Benét performed an NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert that included “Sometimes I Cry” and “Spend My Life with You.” His international concert history also includes appearances at Seoul Jazz Festival in South Korea and Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta.
