Eric Bibb is an American blues singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in New York City in 1951. His acoustic style draws on country blues, folk and gospel, and he is known for songs including “Don’t Ever Let Nobody Drag Your Spirit Down” and albums such as Spirit & the Blues, Painting Signs and Migration Blues. Live at the Basement documented a performance in Sydney early in the 2000s. He later recorded Troubadour Live with guitarist Staffan Astner at Katalin and All That Jazz in Nyíregyháza.
