Artist
Eric Lu is an American classical pianist born in 1997, known for winning the Leeds International Piano Competition and placing fourth at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Chopin, Schubert, Beethoven and Brahms are central to his recital and concerto repertoire. At the 2018 Leeds final, he performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Hallé conducted by Edward Gardner. His subsequent concert work has included solo recitals at Wigmore Hall in London and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
