Ernst Molden is an Austrian singer-songwriter, guitarist and writer, born in Vienna in 1967. He writes chiefly in Viennese dialect, drawing on folk, blues, rock and the Wienerlied tradition. His recorded work includes Ho Rugg with Willi Resetarits, Walther Soyka and Hannes Wirth, and Schdrom with the Frauenorchester. Molden/Resetarits/Soyka/Wirth carried their collaborative repertoire into Austrian theatres and concert halls, while Ernst Molden has also performed alone with guitar and with the Frauenorchester.
