Artist
Étienne Daho is a French singer-songwriter, born in Oran in 1956 and raised in Rennes, whose music draws on synth-pop, rock and chanson. He became known through songs including “Le Grand Sommeil,” “Week-end à Rome,” “Épaule tattoo” and “Tombé pour la France,” while albums such as Pop Satori and Eden established the elegant electronic pop at the centre of his catalogue. Étienne Daho’s concerts at the Olympia in Paris were documented on the live album Daholympia. Decades later, the Diskönoir tour followed Les Chansons de l’innocence retrouvée and produced another concert recording, Diskönoir Live. He subsequently took Tirer la nuit on the Étienne Daho Show tour, which included a performance at the Accor Arena.
