Euskefeurat is a Swedish folk-rock and progg band formed in Piteå in 1977. The group writes in the local Pitemål dialect, using humour and political commentary to depict work, regional identity and life in Norrbotten. Its best-known recordings include the album Ägge borte katta and the song “Det är hit man kommer när man kommer hem.” Between 1977 and 1984, the band took these songs to stages around Sweden before ending its original run. Euskefeurat reunited for concerts in 1992 and began performing together again in 2005, presenting the material with a full band led by singers and songwriters Ronny Eriksson and Bengt Ruthström.
