Eva Dahlgren in Eskilstuna

Eva Dahlgren is a Swedish singer-songwriter, born in Umeå in 1960, who writes pop and rock songs in Swedish. She reached a national television audience through Melodifestivalen in 1979 and became particularly known for the album En blekt blondins hjärta and songs including “Ängeln i rummet,” “Vem tänder stjärnorna?” and “Gunga mig.” Eva Dahlgren toured Swedish concert halls behind En blekt blondins hjärta, bringing its songs into a live repertoire that has remained central to her performances. Her later concerts have included Gröna Lund in Stockholm and the open-air amphitheatre Dalhalla outside Rättvik.
