Everclear in East Moline

Everclear is an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1991 by singer and guitarist Art Alexakis. The album Sparkle and Fade includes “Santa Monica” and “Heroin Girl,” while So Much for the Afterglow produced “Everything to Everyone,” “I Will Buy You a New Life” and “Father of Mine.” Everclear played Woodstock ’99 before Alexakis launched the Summerland Tour in 2012; its inaugural lineup also included Sugar Ray, Lit, Gin Blossoms and Marcy Playground. Five years later, the band marked the 20th anniversary of So Much for the Afterglow on a tour with Vertical Horizon and Fastball.
