Evil Scarecrow in Manchester

Evil Scarecrow are a British comedy-metal band formed in Nottingham in 2002. Their heavy metal songs use science-fiction, horror and absurdist parody, and they are best known for “Robototron” and “Crabulon,” alongside albums including Galactic Hunt and Chapter IV: Antartarctica. In 2014, they headlined the Sophie Lancaster Stage at Bloodstock Open Air. Their full-band shows use costumes, characters and comic props, while “Robototron” and “Crabulon” are accompanied by coordinated robot and crab movements involving the audience. They later performed at Download Festival.
