Excision is the stage name of Canadian electronic producer and DJ Jeff Abel, who began releasing music in Kelowna, British Columbia. He is known for heavy dubstep and bass music, including “The Paradox,” “Robo Kitty” and the Space Laces collaboration “Throwin’ Elbows,” as well as the albums X Rated, Codename X and Apex. The Executioner Tour used a custom video-mapped stage, and The Paradox Tour followed with a new audiovisual production. In 2017, Excision founded the dubstep festival Lost Lands at Legend Valley in Ohio. The following year he launched Bass Canyon at Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre.
