Eyehategod in Nashville

Eyehategod are an American sludge-metal band formed in New Orleans in 1988. Their music is built on down-tuned, blues-rooted riffs, heavy feedback and Mike IX Williams’s rasped vocals. In the Name of Suffering, Take as Needed for Pain and Dopesick established their core catalogue, including songs such as “Blank” and “Dixie Whiskey.” Touring around Take as Needed for Pain included European dates with Chaos UK and American shows with White Zombie and Corrosion of Conformity. In 2016, Phil Anselmo and Randy Blythe each handled vocals at performances while Mike IX Williams underwent medical treatment, allowing the band to fulfil live commitments during his absence. Eyehategod have played Roadburn in Tilburg and Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore; Hellfest has also brought the band to Clisson.
