Artist
Ezginin Günlüğü is a Turkish folk and pop group formed in Istanbul in 1982. It plays contemporary folk, acoustic pop and Anatolian rock, and many of its songs draw on modern Turkish poetry. Its debut album, Seni Düşünmek, appeared in 1985; “Ebruli,” “Düşler Sokağı” and “Eksik Bir Şey” are among the songs most closely associated with the group. The group marked its 40th anniversary at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre. Founding member Nadir Göktürk led the ensemble through songs drawn from across its catalogue.
