Artist
Ezhel is a Turkish rapper and singer from Ankara, born Ömer Sercan İpekçioğlu in 1991. His music draws on hip-hop, trap and reggae, and he became widely known through the album Müptezhel and tracks including “Geceler,” “Şehrimin Tadı” and “Felaket.” In 2018, Ezhel performed “Geceler” for the Berlin-based COLORS series. He followed that filmed session in 2019 with appearances at Roskilde Festival in Denmark and Sziget Festival in Budapest.
