Ezra Furman in Liverpool

Ezra Furman is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Chicago in 1986, whose music ranges across indie rock, folk rock and punk. She first recorded with Ezra Furman and the Harpoons, then built a solo catalogue that includes Day of the Dog, Perpetual Motion People, Transangelic Exodus, Twelve Nudes and All of Us Flames. Her best-known songs include “Restless Year” and “Love You So Bad,” and she also wrote music for the television series Sex Education. Ezra Furman and the Harpoons toured clubs in North America before the group ended in 2011. She later took Day of the Dog and Perpetual Motion People on the road with the Boy-Friends, then performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2019. Subsequent concerts have drawn on Twelve Nudes and All of Us Flames, and she plays especially often in the United States and the United Kingdom.
