Fabio Concato is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Milan in 1953, known for melodic pop songs shaped by conversational lyrics and jazz-inflected arrangements. “Domenica bestiale,” “Fiore di maggio,” “Rosalina” and “Guido piano” are central pieces of his songbook. At the Sanremo Festival in 2001 he performed “Ciao ninìn,” then returned in 2007 with “Oltre il giardino.” In 2017 he recorded the album Gigi with pianist Paolo Di Sabatino, a collaboration also presented in concert with Di Sabatino’s trio. He has also performed with his band in Italian theatres and auditoriums on the Musico Ambulante tour.
