Faderhead in Oberhausen

Faderhead is a German electronic project founded in Hamburg in 2004 by producer and vocalist Sami Mark Yahya. Its hard-edged EBM, futurepop and synthpop are represented by tracks such as “TZDV,” “Dirtygrrrls/Dirtybois” and “Destroy Improve Rebuild,” while FH1 began an extensive album catalogue. The American Dream Tour took Faderhead through North American clubs in 2013. The project has also appeared at Resistanz Festival in Sheffield, extending its club-based live history to industrial festival stages. Faderhead presents the material as a live electronic band led by Yahya’s vocals. German festival appearances have included Amphi Festival in Cologne and Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
