Falguni Pathak in Schaumburg

Falguni Pathak is an Indian singer born in 1969, known for Gujarati garba and pop songs including “Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi,” “Maine Payal Hai Chhankai” and “Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye.” Her recordings brought folk-rooted dance rhythms into the Hindi pop landscape of the 1990s. For decades, Falguni Pathak has led multi-night Navratri programs in Mumbai. A live band supports sets built around Gujarati garba, dandiya songs and her pop catalogue, a format she has also taken to Indian communities overseas. She has presented the same festival-centered concert format in Dubai.
