Fantasia in Fort Worth

Fantasia is an American R&B and soul singer born in 1984 in High Point, North Carolina. She won the third season of American Idol in 2004 and released “I Believe” as her debut single. Her catalogue includes the albums Free Yourself and Back to Me, as well as the songs “Truth Is,” “When I See U” and “Bittersweet.” She also played Celie in The Color Purple on Broadway. In 2005, she joined Kanye West’s Touch the Sky Tour. Her own Back to Me Tour followed in 2010, supported by Eric Benét and Kandi Burruss. In 2019, she led The Sketchbook Tour, whose lineup also featured Robin Thicke, Tank and The Bonfyre.

Anthony Hamilton is an American soul and R&B singer-songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina, born in 1971. His 2003 album Comin’ from Where I’m From established his deep, gospel-rooted vocal style through its title track and “Charlene”; later releases include Ain’t Nobody Worryin’ and The Point of It All. Anthony Hamilton toured as a backing vocalist on D’Angelo’s Voodoo Tour in 2000. He led the Back to Love Tour with Estelle in 2012, then co-headlined a 2016 tour with Fantasia. In 2022, he joined Maxwell and Joe on The Night Tour.
