Farin Urlaub in Dessau

Farin Urlaub is a German singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in West Berlin in 1963. He is a co-founder of the punk-rock band Die Ärzte and launched his solo catalogue with the album Endlich Urlaub!; later records include Am Ende der Sonne and Faszination Weltraum, while “Sumisu,” “Dusche” and “Porzellan” are among his best-known solo songs. In 2002, Farin Urlaub formed the Farin Urlaub Racing Team to perform his solo material onstage. The expanded band toured concert halls, arenas and festivals, and Livealbum of Death documented performances from the Am Ende der Sonne period. He later led the group on the Krachgarten tour and returned with it for the Faszination Weltraum tour.
