Faster Pussycat is an American hard-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by singer Taime Downe. Its early records placed the band in the city’s glam-metal and sleaze-rock scene, led by the self-titled debut and Wake Me When It’s Over. Its best-known songs include “Bathroom Wall” and “House of Pain.” Faster Pussycat performed at the Moscow Music Peace Festival in 1989, appearing on a lineup that included Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe and Ozzy Osbourne. Decades later, the band toured with Tom Keifer and L.A. Guns on the 2022 Sonic Slam Tour.
