Fatboy Slim in Johannesburg

Fatboy Slim is the stage name of English DJ and producer Norman Cook, known for the big beat records he released in the 1990s. The album You've Come a Long Way, Baby includes “The Rockafeller Skank,” “Praise You” and “Right Here, Right Now”; “Weapon of Choice” followed on Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars. In 2002, Fatboy Slim staged the free Big Beach Boutique II concert on Brighton beach. A decade later, he performed at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics, DJing from the top of a giant inflatable octopus inside the Olympic Stadium. His DJ sets also appear in concert halls and arenas, including O2 Academy Brixton and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro. His festival history includes repeated appearances at Glastonbury Festival.
