Artist
Faudel is a French singer of Algerian descent, born in Mantes-la-Jolie in 1978. He became known for pop-raï sung in French and Arabic through his debut album Baïda and songs including “Tellement N’brick,” “Je veux vivre” and “Mon pays.” After Baïda, he performed at the Olympia. In 1998 he joined Khaled at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy for 1, 2, 3 Soleils, a concert also featuring Rachid Taha and released as a live album.
