Federico Aubele in Los Angeles

Federico Aubele is an Argentine singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Buenos Aires. He writes downtempo electronic music shaped by tango, dub and Latin guitar, and became known through the album Gran Hotel Buenos Aires, released by Thievery Corporation’s ESL Music label. His best-known recordings include “Postales,” “Esta Noche” and “Contigo.” Following Gran Hotel Buenos Aires, Aubele toured in the United States and Europe and performed in support of Thievery Corporation. His concerts center on his vocals and guitar, bringing the electronic textures of his records into a live-band setting connected to Thievery Corporation.
