Ferocious Dog in Newcastle upon Tyne

Ferocious Dog are a British folk-punk band formed in Warsop, Nottinghamshire, in 1988. Their music brings violin, mandolin and traditional folk textures into punk rock, heard on albums including Ferocious Dog, From Without and Red, and songs such as “The Glass” and “Slow Motion Suicide.” In 2015, Ferocious Dog sold out Rock City in Nottingham while still unsigned. They went on to headline tours around Britain and mainland Europe, alongside appearances at Glastonbury Festival and Rebellion Festival. Their recurring festival dates have also included Bearded Theory and Beautiful Days.

Headsticks are an English folk-punk band formed in Stoke-on-Trent in 2012. Their music couples punk guitar and rhythm with acoustic folk instrumentation and politically direct lyrics; their albums include Muster, Feather and Flame, Kept in the Dark and C.O.W.. Headsticks have performed at Bearded Theory at Catton Hall and Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.
