Flans in Los Angeles

Flans is a Mexican pop group formed in Mexico City in 1985 by Ilse, Ivonne and Mimí. The trio became known for synth-pop and Latin pop songs including “No controles,” “Bazar,” “Las mil y una noches” and “Tímido,” as well as albums such as 20 Millas and Luz y sombra. Flans reunited in 1999 for the album Hadas and returned to concert stages after its original farewell. During the 2010s, the three singers performed again as Ilse, Ivonne y Mimí and recorded the live project Primera Fila. Flans later toured with Pandora in the Inesperado Tour, which included performances at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional.
