flipturn is an American indie-rock band formed in Fernandina Beach, Florida, in 2015. The group’s guitar-led sound carries traces of indie pop and surf rock; songs including “August,” “Chicago” and “Space Cowboy” preceded its 2022 debut album, Shadowglow. flipturn supported Mt. Joy on the Orange Blood Tour in 2022 and followed those dates with its own Shadowglow Tour, playing clubs and theatres across North America. The band expanded that live record in 2023 through performances at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
