Florian Schroeder is a German cabaret artist, comedian, author and presenter, born in Lörrach in 1979. His work centres on political satire and impersonation. He is known for stage programmes including Ausnahmezustand, Offen für alles und nicht ganz dicht and Neustart, as well as for presenting the SWR television show Spätschicht. Florian Schroeder toured German theatres with his solo programmes and developed Schluss jetzt! as a recurring satirical review of the year. In 2020, he accepted an invitation to speak at a demonstration against pandemic restrictions, then used the appearance to challenge conspiracy narratives and the movement’s arguments onstage in Stuttgart.
