Florian Silbereisen in Berlin

Florian Silbereisen is a German singer, accordionist and television presenter, born in 1981 in Tiefenbach, Bavaria. He became widely known after taking over as host of the television series Feste der Volksmusik in 2004. His music draws on Schlager and volkstümliche Musik; he has recorded with Jan Smit and Christoff as Klubbb3 and released Das Album with Thomas Anders. Das große Schlagerfest placed Florian Silbereisen at the centre of a touring arena revue as both presenter and singer, supported by a changing cast of Schlager performers. The anniversary production Das große Schlagerfest.XXL retained that format for an arena tour through Germany and Austria.
