Foo Fighters in São Paulo

Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1994 by Dave Grohl after Nirvana ended. Their guitar-driven alternative and hard rock includes songs such as “Everlong,” “My Hero” and “Best of You,” while The Colour and the Shape and Wasting Light are among their best-known albums. The band began touring in 1995 as an opening act for Mike Watt on a U.S. run, then played its own headline shows in clubs and theatres. At two Wembley Stadium concerts in 2008, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones joined them for Led Zeppelin songs. They later played arenas and stadiums on the Concrete and Gold Tour, and in 2022 Foo Fighters closed the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Foo Fighters headlined Glastonbury Festival in 2017 and 2023 and have also made repeated headline appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
