Fortuna Ehrenfeld in Cologne

Fortuna Ehrenfeld is a German indie-pop project led by Cologne songwriter and producer Martin Bechler. German-language lyrics, piano-centred arrangements and songs including “Das letzte Kommando” established the act’s identity, while albums such as Das Ende der Coolness, Hey Sexy and Die Rückkehr zur Normalität developed its catalogue. Fortuna Ehrenfeld tours as a trio, with Bechler joined by keyboardist and singer Jenny Thiele and drummer Paul Leonard Weißert. The group has played clubs and theatres across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and has also presented its repertoire at the Kölner Philharmonie.
