Fortunate Youth is an American reggae band formed in Hermosa Beach, California, in 2009. The group plays roots reggae, dub and reggae rock, and is known for albums including Irie State of Mind, It’s All a Jam and Don’t Think Twice, as well as songs such as “Sweet Love,” “Burn One” and “Trippin.” Fortunate Youth have performed at California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey and One Love Cali Reggae Fest in Long Beach. Their festival history also includes Reggae Rise Up Florida in St. Petersburg.
