Four80East in Richmond

Four80East is a Canadian jazz duo formed in Toronto in 1997 by keyboardist and bassist Rob DeBoer and percussionist Tony Grace. Their instrumental music draws on electronic jazz, smooth jazz and funk; key releases include The Album, Nocturnal and En Route, while “Noodle Soup” became a signature track. Four80East developed the original studio project into a touring ensemble, led by DeBoer on keyboards and bass and Grace on percussion, joined by saxophone and other live players. They have presented that format at Florida’s Seabreeze Jazz Festival and California’s Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival.
