Effy & Mall Grab in Sydney

Mall Grab is Australian DJ and producer Jordon Alexander, who emerged from Newcastle, New South Wales. His sample-heavy house tracks “Can’t” and “Sunflower” became closely associated with the 2010s lo-fi house scene, while his 2022 debut album, What I Breathe, extended his sound into techno, breakbeats and drum and bass. Boiler Room recorded a Mall Grab DJ set in Paris in 2016, followed by another appearance at Dekmantel Festival in 2017. He later performed at Glastonbury Festival as his sets moved between house, techno and breaks. After relocating to London, Mall Grab has returned to Australia for shows in Melbourne.
