Francesco Renga is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in Udine in 1968, who first became known as the lead singer of the pop-rock band Timoria. His solo catalogue includes “Raccontami,” “Angelo” and “Meravigliosa (la Luna)”; “Angelo” won the Sanremo Music Festival in 2005 and appeared on the album Camere con vista. The 2017 Scriverò il tuo nome Live tour included a concert at Arena di Verona. He followed it with the theatre dates of L’altra metà Tour in 2019, then joined Nek for the RengaNek live project in 2023, bringing their separate and collaborative songs to venues including Mediolanum Forum in Milan.
