Franco Escamilla in Grand Prairie

Franco Escamilla is a Mexican stand-up comedian and musician, born in Cuautla in 1981 and closely associated with Monterrey. Known as “El Amo del Sarcasmo,” he tells autobiographical stories about family, work and everyday frustrations. His filmed specials include Por la anécdota, Bienvenido al mundo, Eavesdropping and Ladies’ Man. Franco Escamilla toured Por la anécdota, then followed it with the stage shows RPM and Payaso. He later toured Gaby and 1995, and his theatre appearances have included Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City and Carnegie Hall in New York.
