Frazey Ford in Barcelona

Frazey Ford is a Canadian singer-songwriter from British Columbia who plays folk, country and soul. She first became known as a founding member of The Be Good Tanyas, then established a solo catalogue through the albums Obadiah, Indian Ocean and U kin B the Sun. Her best-known solo songs include “Done,” “September Fields” and “The Kids Are Having None of It.” Frazey Ford toured in support of Indian Ocean using a full band to carry the record’s Memphis-soul arrangements. Her NPR Tiny Desk Concert featured “September Fields,” “Done” and “Weather Pattern” in that compact band format. Frazey Ford later brought material from U kin B the Sun to club and theatre stages.
