Fritz Kalkbrenner in Freiburg im Breisgau

Fritz Kalkbrenner is a German electronic producer, singer and DJ, born in East Berlin in 1981. His music draws on house and techno while placing his baritone vocals at the center. He is best known for “Sky and Sand,” recorded with his brother Paul Kalkbrenner for the film Berlin Calling, and for solo albums including Here Today Gone Tomorrow, Ways Over Water and Grand Départ. The Ways Over Water Tour brought his live electronic set and vocals to European concert halls and festivals. He followed it with the Grand Départ Tour, then presented another album-led run through Europe on the True Colours Tour.
