Froukje in Amsterdam

Froukje is a Dutch singer-songwriter born in 2001 who writes synth-pop and indie pop in her native language. She became known through the climate-crisis song “Groter Dan Ik,” followed by the EPs Licht en Donker and Uitzinnig. Her first full-length album, Noodzakelijk Verdriet, includes “Kwijt” and “Houden van mij.” Froukje performed at Lowlands in 2022, then joined S10 for a series of collaborative concerts that included AFAS Live in 2023. Her own shows progressed through Dutch clubs and concert halls before the Noodzakelijk Verdriet era brought her to arena scale at Ziggo Dome in 2024.
