Sworn Enemy is an American hardcore band formed in Queens, New York, in 1997. They play metallic New York hardcore built on heavy breakdowns, thrash riffs and groove-metal weight. The band is known for the albums As Real as It Gets, The Beginning of the End and Gamechanger. Sworn Enemy played the second stage of Ozzfest in 2003, bringing material from As Real as It Gets to amphitheatres across the United States. They later carried that material through club tours with Biohazard and Madball.
