Gallant is an American singer-songwriter from the Washington, D.C. area who makes alternative R&B and soul. His falsetto-led song “Weight in Gold” introduced the album Ology, which also includes “Skipping Stones” and “Talking to Myself.”
In 2015, Gallant opened North American dates on Sufjan Stevens’s Carrie & Lowell Tour. He performed at Coachella in 2016, where Seal joined him for “Crazy” and “Weight in Gold,” and later supported John Legend on the Darkness and Light Tour.
