Artist
Gallowstreet is a Dutch brass band formed in Amsterdam in 2012. The group plays instrumental neo-brass shaped by hip-hop, funk and dance music, and is known for albums including Battleplan, Hot Lava Sex Machine and Our Dear Metropolis. Gallowstreet have performed at Lowlands and the North Sea Jazz Festival. They also brought their brass-led set to Sziget Festival in Budapest. The concert lineup is built around horns and percussion, turning the group’s recorded material into a continuous, rhythm-driven ensemble performance. The group has also played standalone club and theatre shows at Paradiso and TivoliVredenburg.
