Games We Play in Detroit

Games We Play is an American pop-punk project led by Miami-born singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emmyn Calleiro. First formed as a band during his school years, it later became Calleiro’s solo vehicle. The project is known for the songs “I Hope You’re Happy,” “Get a Job” and “St. Girlfriend,” as well as the debut album Life’s Going Great. In 2023, Games We Play supported All Time Low on the Tell Me I’m Alive Tour and performed at Sad Summer Festival. Emmyn Calleiro presents the songs with a touring band, and in 2024 the project moved into its own club dates on the Life’s Going Great Tour.

Bears In Trees are a British four-piece formed in Croydon in 2014, playing indie pop and indie rock and describing themselves as a “dirtbag boyband.” Their catalog includes the albums and everybody else smiled back and How to Build an Ocean: Instructions, as well as songs such as “I Wanna Feel Calm,” “Cut Corners on Short Walks” and “Mossy Cobblestone.” In 2022, Bears In Trees performed at Reading Festival and Leeds Festival, bringing material from and everybody else smiled back to two major UK festival stages. Their headline runs have also concentrated on club venues around Britain, including London.
