About Garish
Garish are an Austrian indie-pop band formed in Mattersburg in 1997. Their music pairs German-language lyrics with guitar-led pop, alternative rock and folk elements. The band’s catalogue includes the albums Am Ende wird alles gut, Absender auf Achse, Trumpf and Komm schwarzer Kater.
Garish marked their 25th anniversary with a concert at Arena Wien, building the set from different periods of their catalogue. Their concerts use a full-band format centered on vocalist Thomas Jarmer.
