Garth Brooks in Salt Lake City

Garth Brooks is an American country singer and songwriter, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1962. He brought pop and rock elements into mainstream country through albums including No Fences and Ropin’ the Wind, and songs such as “Friends in Low Places,” “The Dance” and “The Thunder Rolls.” The Garth Brooks World Tour of 1996–98 included his free 1997 concert in Central Park. He returned to extended touring on The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood in 2014, followed by The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour, which ran through 2022 and concentrated on football grounds. Las Vegas has hosted his long engagements at Encore Theater and The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. He has also played Croke Park in Dublin and Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
