About Gen and the Degenerates
Gen and the Degenerates are a British punk-rock band from Liverpool, fronted by vocalist Gen. Their music draws on post-punk, riot grrrl and queercore, and their debut album, Anti-Fun Propaganda, includes the songs “Kids Wanna Dance” and “Girls!”
Gen and the Degenerates toured the UK and continental Europe as support for Skunk Anansie, performing in theatres and larger concert halls. They later took Anti-Fun Propaganda into clubs on their own headline dates and appeared at Download Festival and 2000trees.
