George Clanton in San Francisco

George Clanton is an American electronic musician and producer whose work draws on synth-pop, chillwave, vaporwave and sample-based pop. He has also recorded as ESPRIT 空想, and his best-known releases include the albums 100% Electronica, Slide and Ooh Rap I Ya, as well as the songs “Make It Forever” and “I Been Young.” In 2019, he performed at the first ElectroniCON, a festival presented by 100% Electronica at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Later editions took the event to Los Angeles, and in 2023 he supported Ooh Rap I Ya with a North American headline tour.
