Artist
Gerónimo Rauch is an Argentine singer and musical-theatre actor from Buenos Aires. He first became known as a member of the pop group Mambrú before building a stage career around leading roles including Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and the title character in The Phantom of the Opera. In 2007, Rauch played Jesus in a Spanish production of Jesus Christ Superstar. He took the role of Jean Valjean in Madrid in 2010 and reprised it in the West End at the Queen’s Theatre in 2012, before succeeding it with his run as the Phantom at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
