About Gerry Dee

Gerry Dee is a Canadian stand-up comedian, actor and writer from Scarborough, Ontario. A former schoolteacher, he was a finalist on Last Comic Standing and created and starred in the CBC sitcom Mr. D, which drew on his classroom experience. He later became the host of Family Feud Canada.

The filmed stand-up shows No Reading Ahead and Life After Teaching document the teacher and family material at the centre of his stage act. He also performed at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.
